Record jackpot payout does not make bingo winner quit job
After a bingo winner returning to her job in McDonald’s, a Scottish woman now has retained her cleaning job even after hitting a big win in a bingo jackpot. This national jackpot winner had taken home a grand prize of $2.3 million in the National Bingo Game.
In fact, when she had informed her family about the win, her family fell into a state of shock. Soraya Lowell says that she does not plan to leave her job. She says that she enjoys working with her colleagues and that they have already asked her not to leave her job.
It is because of all this that Soraya Lowell says that she will have to fight the urge to retire. Besides this incident, a man who had won the lottery last week had still joined his job as a trainer in McDonald’s.
He said that it was because he missed working and the relation he had with his co-workers that prompted him to return to his job. This is exactly what goes on in Lowell’s mind today; and it is only after time that you will be able to tell if she follows this ideal or if she prefers leading a life without any work.
In fact, out of excitement, Lowell has not slept at all; but still plans to return to work on Tuesday as usual.
