This is a woman who prefers anonymity, who had won 15,000 pounds as prize bingo in a national bingo game after playing the game for 28 years. She had won the prize while playing at the Mecca Bingo in Flat Street.

This lucky woman had won the game after completing a full house in 39 balls, which was the lowest call amongst the 470 clubs that were participating in the game. She has been playing bingo regularly since the age of 18, and says that she never could get around to believing how much she had won, when her prize was announced.

In fact, she had never even dreamt that she would win the national and it took a long time for this fact to settle down in her. She intends to use the money that she had won to take her partner and sons on a long awaited holiday in the sun.
