North East Bingo Caller Of The Year

The bingo caller of the year competition is hotting up as the regional finals start rolling into town. Bingo caller Blake Robson has proved he has what it takes to take on the best as he has beaten off all competition to become the best bingo caller in the North East of England.  The 41 year old voice and personality is considered the best in the region and the local people of South Shields

Mr Robson has two teenage sons called Daniel and Adam, he commented “I’m still high as a kite, it’s been absolutely brilliant”.

“I’m over the moon and still can’t believe it. I’m really looking forward to the final”.

“It’s the first time I’ve entered myself for it and to win it at the first attempt feels great.” 

Blake will go head to head with the best bingo callers from all over the country in a bid to win the £500, a trip for two to Los Angeles and the chance to put his bingo calling skills to use in the famous sun coast casino in Las Vegas. The winner also automatically becomes the

UK’s national bingo ambassador.

Mr Robson has been a bingo caller for 16 years and spends his time touring the

UK’s bingo circuit and showing off his prize winning bingo calling skills.
 
He added: “I was really nervous, but glad I came through it. I love my job and will be trying my best to win that trip to Vegas.”

The sponsors of the competition, the national bingo game, said: “I have never seen such a happy crowd, and we look forward to the national final being just as much fun.”
