The saying ‘beginner’s luck’ holds true for many people, especially for a lucky 49 year old man from Hull. This man, Paul Smith had joined the local Mecca Bingo Club only in January. However today, he is richer by 24,000 pounds because of his win in the National Bingo Game Jackpot.

As Paul and his girlfriend Tracy Millington wanted to do something in the evenings, they had started playing bingo. They don’t actually play bingo regularly; they play it once a fortnight, making this win a much luckier win for them.

They were both playing bingo at their local Mecca Bingo club on 14^th March when they hit the bingo jackpot. The winnings of the National Bingo Game jackpot prize for the evening was 62,100 pounds for that night.

This winning was to be shared by three people from UK as they all had called this house within 44 numbers. So not only Paul from Hull, even a player from Sunderland and another from Chester had all won parts of this great National game prize.

Of the lot, Paul’s share of the jackpot was 20,700 pounds. In addition to this, he had also won the regional prize of 3,262 pounds and the Mecca Bingo in house prize for the evening of 286 pounds. This added to his winnings of over 24,000 pounds for spending a night of bingo with his girlfriend.
