Bingo bucks mean a lot to everyone
After winning this week’s $10,000 Sun Bingo cash prize, three Edmontonians and an out of towner had, and were willing to divide the prize amongst them. While the other winners of the prize money were on their way to the Edmonton Sun office to claim their $2,500 cheque, another winner, Janice Meakin was working in her office in Fort McMurray.
This 50 year long time bingo player says that it would be some time before she gets time off to celebrate her win. On the contrary, Ken Derpack aged 64, had taken along his four grandchildren with him to claim his prize.
To his, this money will prove to be useful with two more grandchildren on their way. Derpack has been playing bingo on Sun Bingo since day 1, and just couldn’t believe his luck for finally getting a bingo win.
In fact, he had to check the number over four times before he was satisfied with the results. The other bingo winners of the week were Art Briere aged 61 and Brian Stevenson aged 30.
The next game in Sun Bingo starts today. All you have to do to participate in this game is to find the playing card in the papers, and circle the numbers that appear every weekday, and Saturday. The weekly winners of this bingo get to split the prize money of $10,000 amongst them.
