The Bingo Socials and Rides that was proposed by the La Trinidad Municipal Council during a mini-carnival in Barangay Pico have been revoked by 62 villagers. This carnival was proposed to run for three months in the town and according to the villagers, the bingo games would destroy the morality of the people, and not preserve.
The mayor and Municipal Council received copies of the petition, which also asked for the removal of structures which were already set on the carnival site. This is because the villagers want the carnival to move to an area which would not disturb people.
The petitioners stated that the bingo games would disturb the present peace and order, sanitation and health of the village. It would also induce inconvenience and nuisances to the residents of the village.
However the municipal council has refused to endorse this petition saying that it would create social problems in the area. The Barangay officials however have requested a reconsideration of the proposal stating that the bingo games would not disturb peace and order or disturb schooling as it would be held after class yours. Moreover, no form of illegal gambling would be tolerated in the area, as agreed between operators and officials.

February proved to be an interesting one in Inland Empire with San Manuel of Indian Bingo and Casino and California Speedway introducing bingo to thousands of motor sports enthusiasts, and thus helping San Manuel reclaim its world title of ‘Largest Bingo House”.
It was in July of 2006 that San Manuel was first called the ‘Largest Bingo House’ when it broke the Guinness World Record with 53,000 participants playing bingo, and making Inland Empire world famous.
Steve Lengel, the executive director for operations in San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino said that those at San Manuel are always working on doing something special. This is why they combined one of the largest bingo houses in the country with the biggest racing organization in motor sports, to create something big in bingo.
About 100,000 people had attended the event at Auto Club 500 at California Speedway to make this record attempt. With so many people here, the speedway here was converted into a temporary, open air bingo hall where everyone had a bingo card to play.
Winning participants were awarded cash prizes where winning cards were entered into a random draw. The three lucky winners received cash prizes of $10,000, $6,000 and $4,000. And to make things official, a representative from the Guinness World Records was on hand to recognize this record.

A well established online bingo games operator in Sweden, who opts for anonymity now, has signed an agreement with Net Entertainment, the leading casino software development company in Scandinavia.
This is in a bid to improve the quality and presentation of the games the online bingo game site produces. The reason the operator of the company chose Net Entertainment is because operators practice more caution when choosing software suppliers and developers today.
And with this agreement that has been signed between the two companies, it shows just how high the quality of software that Net Entertainment produces. Today, the Swedish online bingo company is a leading bingo operator in its home market.
And it is now applying to get a gaming license in Malta. The launch planned for its casino is scheduled for late spring and early summer of 2008. Currently, the gambling legislation of Sweden is under investigation by the European Commission.
This is in compliance with the EU principles that are based on the freedom they have in providing cross-border services.
