Bingo technology leader Steven Smallman has joined Las Vegas Gaming Inc (LVGI), the innovator of server based gaming industry as its Senior Vice President and General Manager.

Smallman is a man with lots of experience in the electronic bingo industry as he has held various top level Vice Presidential positions in Bingo Technologies Corporation, Blue Dog, Inc and GameTech International.

It was in the year 1997 that he had joined Bingo Technologies Corporation and while he was there, he had helped in launching the electronic bingo revolution. In fact, as head of the Marketing and Customer Service of the company, he had helped increase the revenue generated from the company from $4 million to $16 million by the start of 1999.

Smallman then joined the GameTech International Company of Reno, Nevada when they had acquired the BTC. He then helped in making these merged companies grow into the rich $50 million range.

When he was here, he held many Vice Presidential titles where was in charge of both operational and strategic planning functions. His duties included distributor and sales management, market and competition analysis and all any merger and acquisition opportunities the company came about.

It was since January 2003 that Smallman served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing in Blue Dog Inc. the present responsibilities in LVGI will include heading the Bingo Strategic Business Unit.

This unit will help in the distribution of electronic bingo products and help in the interfacing of business and technology teams in a bid to expand innovative solutions of gaming operators.

The CEEO of the parent company of GEMed, GTECH, Jaymin B. Patel stated that they were pleased that their revised offer had received unanimous endorsement from the Board of Boss Media. In fact, they are eager to work together with Boss Media, to accelerate its international growth strategy.

It was just some time back that Boss Media had voiced its intentions to expand its presence in the online bingo games market in the next year.
